A company that starts from the heart of a family

The 1950s
It all started with the tailor’s shop belonging to Antonio Viganò, the pioneering founder of the company. Antonio only made made-to-measure trousers, with the attention and care that has always been characteristic of our work.

The 1960s
Going from the tailor’s shop to industrial production in the 1950s and 1960s was a truly significant moment. Production soared, with an increasing focus on trousers, the signature piece of the tailor’s shop.

The 1970s-80s
The search for new materials and technology was a constant throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Viganò production set its sights on experimenting with new types of fabrics.

The 1990s
During the 1990s, the drive towards internationalisation became a focal point, beginning a process of expansion in the Middle and Far East, as well as the United States and Europe.

2000
Innovation and quality continue to be the main values of Viganò. Research is constantly evolving and on-going, to add more and more “material” to our work.
